Kärkevagge - The Rock Valley

Snurrijokk - The other side
On the north shore of lake Torneträsk, one finds a remaining wilderness. A spectacular flora adds extra flavour to this trek. At the Snurrijokk hut we enjoy our packed lunch & the breathtaking scenery. We stroll back to the lake, enjoying the sound of silence. Finally, the boat trip across the beautiful lake will really make your day!

Rombak -  Mountains and Fjords
During this day we travel from the sub- alpine region along the Navvy road, through the boreal forest, down to the fjord in Rombaksbotn. The tour is filled with impressive views and fresh ocean air. The grand finale will be the boat trip on the fjord towards Narvik. An exciting and dramatic hike that will become a precious holiday memory.

Expedition Luopakte - Challenge with a view
Do you enjoy great scenery and a good workout? This straight- forward hike takes you to the summit of Luopakte. The climb is steep and from the top the panoramic view is stunning. Luopakte is a sacred place for the Sami, an old sacrificial ground. Join us on this hike where we play a bit harder!

Stordalen -  Awesome Fishing
Are you dreaming of catching the great grayling or just looking for a relaxing day in the outdoors? In Stordalen we'll find the best fishing in this area. At the lake, the exciting fishing is enhanced by the tranquillity of the mountains. We finish off by preparing the catch of the day over an open fire.

Kåppasjokk - Caving Adventure

Slåttatjåkka - Panorama Trekking
Relaxation & stunning views… We use the ski lift to easily reach Panorama Café where we start with some coffee before heading off up the mountain. We gently stroll up and down Abisko’s two best panorama peaks, Nuolja & Slåttatjåkka, while harmonizing with nature.

Slide show - Seasons
Come to Storstugan and enjoy "Seasons"- our 15 minute slide show, with music, about the Abisko area. The slideshow gives you a good introduction to the magnificent Abisko area. The pictures display spectacular seasonal changes during a year- everything from glittering snow and northern light in the arctic winter to the glowing midnight sun in the summer. Welcome!

Abisko in 60 min -  Local treats
This evening serves as an introduction to classic places around the Tourist Station. We visit some of the gems and you will learn the Abisko history, get an introduction to the fabulous National Park and the best advice for further explorations and adventures in the area. This hour is the perfect start – or ending- of your stay in Abisko!

The Sami Camp - unique culture
Come  to The Sami Camp, an exhibition displaying how the Sami lived in the late 19th century. The camp is a reconstruction of a spring and fall residence from the time when the Sami lived as nomads. After a tour around camp, we enter the picturesque hut to gather around the fire, sip coffee and eat reindeer meat while discussing the Sami culture.
